Fire crews save baby goat from fire in Lowell

PHOTOS: The Lowell Fire Department (LFD) saved a baby goat from a shed fire on Monday, April 22. Fire crews responded to the structure fire in the area of Phillips Road in rural Lowell. When crews arrived, they said half of the storage shed was engulfed in flames. LFD said they were able to remove a baby goat from the shed and control the fire within 15 minutes. The owner of the baby goat, Liz Aleman, tells us how scary this was to her. The baby goat is her pet and his name is GoaTee. GoaTee's mother and brother recently died and Liz said she has been bottle feeding him and caring for him ever since. Liz said when firefighters got to the shed, GoaTee ran up to the them and they immediately gave him oxygen and saved him. "They did so good!," Liz said. "Thankfully everyone is okay."
