TANGENT FIRE CHIEF RETIRINGTangent Fire Chief Stan Parker will be retiring the end of June 2013 after almost 16 years of service with the Fire District.  Chief Parker came to Tangent as a Training Officer in 1997, later became Asst. Chief, and in October 2007 officially became the Fire Chief. During his tenure with the Department, there has been a complete upgrade of all fire apparatus, construction of the recently-completed Warren Building (for storage of engines and equipment), and development of a fire training facility for the volunteers. ....
