The Carrington Fire Department is making plans to show the film “SILO”, which is inspired by true events.
The film follows a harrowing day in an American farm town. Disaster strikes when a teenager becomes entrapped in a 50-foot-tall grain bin. Carrington Fire Chief Ken Wangen says originally, they had planned to show the film in 2020, but that was put on hold due to COVID-19.
“There has been several of these types of incidents in the region and we need to get awareness out there,” Chief Wangen stated.
Foster County Farm Bureau, Nodak Insurance Chris Bichler Agency, NDSU Ag Extension and the Carrington Fire Department have teamed up to show the movie “Silo” on July 21st & 22nd at the Youth Center Theater.
