Lexington Police are investigating after a pipe bomb was found at a park Sunday morning. Officials with the Lexington Fire Department say a person brought a pipe bomb into Fire Station 5 on Woodland Avenue around 10:40 a.m. The person claimed to have found the bomb at Woodland Park. Fire crews evacuated and called police, and LPD’s bomb squad dismantled the bomb. No injuries were reported, and no other devices were found. Lexington Police are now investigating where the bomb came from.
