Crews responded to a fire at a Scott County apartment complex Monday. Fire officials say it happened around noon on Myers Drive. We’re told the fire started on the balcony of an apartment and spread to other areas. While firefighters were inside battling the flames, some stairs collapsed. Thankfully, all of the firefighters are okay. A couple of residents at the complex also had to be treated for smoke inhalation. Residents from several units will be displaced, and the Red Cross was brought in to assist them. There’s no official word yet on how the fire started.
