Sioux County firefighters helped rescue a man from a house fire in Rock Valley on Friday. According to the Rock Valley Fire Department, firefighters responded to a house fire on the 2000 block of 15th Street. They said the house was fully engulfed in flames while a resident was trapped in an upstairs bedroom. The department said officers caught the resident after falling from a second-story window. The resident was sent to a local hospital before being flown to another hospital in Sioux Falls. The fire is currently under investigation.
