VIDEO: Mason City's only bowling alley was reduced to rubble after a fire ravaged the building Sunday night into Monday.
Mystic Lanes, on the city's east side just off Highway 122, was destroyed following the blaze.
According to the Mason City Fire Department, crews were dispatched to the bowling alley at 9:12 p.m.
Firefighters then found the building fully engulfed in flames.
Crews were eventually able to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading.
According to the department, 4th St. SE was closed to traffic and power to the surrounding area was turned off due to crews fighting the blaze near high-wire lines.
No injuries were reported and emergency crews were able to clear the scene at 4:37 a.m.
Mason City fire crews were assisted by Mason City Police Department, Clear Lake Fire Department, Nora Springs Fire Department, Alliant Energy and Cerro Gordo County Emergency Management.
