On Monday night, crews were fighting a fire at an apartment complex in West Des Moines.
The West Des Moines Fire Department responded to the Regency Woods Apartments, which had another fire over the weekend.
Authorities said Monday night's fire was in a different building than the fire that displaced families on Saturday.
Monday night's fire was contained to one apartment unit, but there was considerable damage, according to authorities.
Fire crews assisted residents as they evacuated. The West Des Moines Fire Department said no one was injured.
The Windsor Heights and Clive fire departments assisted in this fire.
