I am pleased to announce some exciting changes to our organizational structure at Western Fire Chiefs Association. To better align our resources with the changing needs of our membership, and to prepare ourselves for what we see as a positive future for the Association, we are making a few very important promotions within our staff:

Heidi Chames is promoted to a newly created General Manager position at WFCA. Heidi's job will be to ensure smooth integration of all business functions within the organization including Administration, Marketing, and Operations. We believe Heidi's steady influence will be a valuable resource to staff, membership and strategic partners.

Jennifer Petrizzi is promoted to Director of Association Services. Many of you who know Jenn understand her job entails much more than just association management for our contracted states. This newly created Director position provides Jenn the flexibility to focus on our total association service package - day to day contract services,  new forums and conference concepts, and nurturing relationships that benefit our membership and the overall fire service.

Jennifer Phillips is promoted to Managing Editor of the Daily Dispatch. Thanks to the support of so many of you, our Daily Dispatch product is wildly successful. We believe we now have the industry recognition to leverage other opportunities to broaden the communication channels of the Daily Dispatch, and this move with Jennifer Phillips allows us to capitalize on Jennifer's deep experience in the editorial realm.
