With the uncertainty of the novel coronavirus pandemic, our community of first responders is facing tremendous pressures to answer the call. Last week, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and the Economic Security (CARES) Act was passed by Congress and signed by the President. The CARES Act will allocate $2.2 trillion in support to individuals and businesses affected by the pandemic and economic downturn. Understandably, many people have questions about how the new law will impact their families and businesses.
