State troopers are trying to track down the driver of a car that crashed into a ditch and ignited a fire overnight in Redmond. The Washington State Patrol says the car was heading west on Highway 202 just after midnight Wednesday when it veered off the road and slammed into a tree before landing in a ditch near 224th Avenue NE. The car burst into flames and the fire spread to nearby trees and brush. Meanwhile, the driver escaped from the car and fled the scene before troopers and firefighters arrived. Crews quickly extinguished the flames before they could spread any farther. Troopers are now looking for the driver. They believe he is the son of the car's owner.
