Seven different brush fires have been confirmed by fire officials that started early Monday morning in Spokane County. Washington Department of Natural Resource and Spokane Valley fire are investigating the cause of the fires. Spokane Fire District 8 officials said the fires started from 12:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. on Monday. They were mostly made up of dry brush and grass. The biggest of the fires was burning on a hill on Upriver Drive near the Arbor Crest Winery. Spokane Valley fire said it burned a couple acres. Spokane Valley fire said the fires were suspicious.
