Spokane Medical Examiner has identified the man who died in a plane crash at Deer Park on Friday.
George Bell, 79, died due to injuries to the head, neck, stomach, pelvis and other extremities injuries. The medical examiner ruled the death an accident. Authorities confirmed around 11:20 that an aircraft had gone down near Montgomery and Cedar. The plane was caught in the trees according to emergency crews near the scene.
Emergency crews from Spokane Fire District 4 arrived on the scene and began looking for other victims. The Spokane County Sheriff's Office said the cause of the crash will be determined by the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board.
