A dental clinic was destroyed by fire overnight in Puyallup.
Firefighting crews responded to the scene, the Kid's Choice Dental and Orthodontic clinic on 40th Avenue SW, at about 9 p.m. Sunday after receiving reports of smoke and flames in the building.
Huge flames were billowing from the clinic when firefighters arrived.
Crews poured water on the building, but the flames gutted the interior of the structure. At one point, firefighters retreated when the roof began to collapse.
No one was inside the building at the time, and there were no injuries.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
