A woman has been arrested in relation to a fire that burned a home in Kent early Thursday morning.
The fire broke out before 4 a.m. in the 13300 block of SE 263rd Place, according to Puget Sound Fire officials. No one was hurt in the fire. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but fire officials said the woman was brought in on outstanding warrants after being identified on surveillance video.
Charges are pending concerning the fire as well, Puget Sound Fire officials said, but didn't give any further details.
It was the second apparent arson in Kent that morning. A main park building at Lake Meridian Park suffered heavy damage from a fire that started about 2 hours earlier.
