A father and three children were killed and a little girl is fighting for her life at the hospital after a fiery crash in Auburn Thursday evening.
Police were called to the intersection of 17th Street SE and R Street SE just after 5:30 pm., according to Mark Caillier with Auburn Police.
When they arrived, they found the vehicle on fire. Police said a 5 month old infant and two children, ages 4 and 7 years old, died at the scene.
Firefighters began to hose down the fiery wreck, and that's when witnesses realized people were still trapped inside. Many saw a 3-year-old girl pressed against the window, then her father's arm pushing her outside to safety.
