A Spokane man has been arrested on arson and harassment charges after he tried to burn down a neighbor's home
According to probable cause documents, police were called to a house on N. Crestline Monday night by a woman who said her son was mentally unstable and had booby trapped the house, and possibly made other weapons.
The woman told responding officers she had come to the home on Crestline with her sister to check on her son who lives with his grandma, who was currently in the hospital. When the woman got to the home, court documents say they found Brian Olson working on something at a small table in the front yard. Olson's mother told officers that he was acting weird and making statements about somebody kidnapping his daughter and his mother.
