A 36’x48’ shop south of Finley is a total loss after it went up in flames Saturday night. Firefighters received the call tonight around 7:10 P.M. of a structure fire on Sloan Road near Highway 397. Benton County Fire District 1, Kennewick Fire Department and Richland Fire Department all responded. Benton County Fire District 1 officials say they had to fight flames defensively since the roof had already collapsed by the time they arrived.
