A small brush fire knocked out power to hundreds of customers near the city of Chelan, Monday night. According to Chelan County PUD, strong winds pushed some power lines together, sparking a 2-alarm fire. It's burning near the intersection of Highway 97A and Apple Acres Road. Lake Chelan fire officials said early Tuesday morning that the fire has been contained at about 72 acres. That number will become more precise later Tuesday.
