It’s hard to tell from the outside just how much damage was done to the Subway on the morning of Memorial Day. But the fire was bad enough to shut it down.
Inside, you can see the counter and bags of chips still sit untouched. On the doors signs reading do not enter. Investigators found three points of ignition, and that was the easy part.
Pullman Police Commander Chris Tennant said, “So it was classified an arson fairly early on in the investigation, but then it's pretty unglamorous after that.”
