A two-alarm fire destroyed a home near Skyway Friday night. Firefighters from multiple agencies were called to the home off Beacon Coal Mine Road, near Monster road about 10:30 p.m. Ads by ZINC Crews said when they arrived, the home was 70 to 80 percent engulfed in flames. Video from the King County Sheriff's Office Guardian One helicopter showed a massive ball of fire. Crews said one of the walls of the homes collapsed, so they moved into a defensive mode. It took more than two-dozen firefighters over an hour to get the fire fully contained.
