Firefighters responded at 3:41 a.m. Tuesday to a structure fire at the East Wenatchee home of a Chelan County firefighter. Fire investigator Brian Brett said the firefighter was on duty with Chelan County Fire District 1 when the fire broke out. His wife and baby were home sleeping when a smoke detector woke his wife, according to Brett. Further details weren’t available Tuesday.
