Firefighters doused a small fire overnight outside a home that neighbors say once belonged to the late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. Crews responded to the home, in the 100 block of Lake Washington Boulevard East, at about 2:30 a.m. after receiving 911 calls. The blaze started outside the home's garage and firefighters were able to extinguish the flames before they caused any damage to the home itself. The home is next door to Viretta Park, which honors Cobain. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
