No Injuries Reported at Second-Story Apartment Fire in Aberdeen

The Aberdeen Fire Department is on the scene of a house fire in the 300 block of East Second Street this morning. Fire chief Tom Hubbard reports no known injuries at the scene, “We’ve actually got two structure fires going right now, we’ve got one on Perry street that was a porch and then this one came in with possible occupants trapped.” Aberdeen Fire crews are responding to two fires this morning, a fire was also reported on the deck of a home on Perry Street around the same time. Hubbard said someone was reported trapped in the home on 2nd street, crews responded to flames coming from the windows of the second story apartment, “I haven’t got the full story, I believe there was someone inside they were safely evacuated, and now we’ve got a fire on the second story moving into the attic.”
