Investigators soon issued a bulletin for Jacob Eveland, 36, who vanish after the slaying and fire. It was his home that was on fire, and the dead man had been a house guest.
The Grays Harbor Sheriff's Office said at 9:05 a.m. Tuesday Seattle police found the stolen 2005 Chevrolet Silverado pickup that Eveland was thought to be driving.
At 10:27 a.m., Seattle police saw a man who looked like Eveland . Officers talked to him. He gave officers a false name, then confirmed that he was Eveland. Seattle police arrested him and impounded the pickup.
Officers questioned him, and he admitted involvement in the case, the Sheriff's Office said. Detectives are now trying to find the weapons that are believed to have been used in the slaying.
Eveland will eventually be returned to Grays Harbor County Jail where he will be booked into jail for investigation of murder and arson.
