A firefighter had to be treated for heat exhaustion after battling a house fire in Renton Sunday afternoon. The fire broke out just after 2:00 p.m. at a two-story home near 4th Avenue North and Meadow Avenue North. It took crews about an hour to contain the fire. Investigators believe it was started by someone cooking on a stove. Two people inside the home escaped unhurt. The firefighter was taken to Valley Medical Center to be checked out and treated.
