Firefighters say the cause of the blaze that burned two Yakima homes Saturday came at the hands of children. Investigations reveal that kids playing with lighters and aerosol cans on North Second Street sparked the blaze that started in an apartment unit and jumped to a nearby home. It took 66 firefighters and two hours to bring the fire under control. Family of the neighbors say those who started the fire should be held accountable. "I think that the neighbor's insurance [has] to pay for this damage because it was their fault for letting those kids [play] with fire," said Mayte Villanueva, the neighbor's daughter. Firefighters say one juvenile received treatment for burns at a local hospital and has since been released. They estimate damages to be around $150,000 dollars.
