A barn northeast of Sequim burned to the ground today. No injuries were reported. The fire at Graymarsh Farm at 331 Graymarsh Lane was discovered a little after 4 p.m. by an employee who then called 9-1-1, said Jamison Brandt, facility manager. “Nobody knows how it started,” he said. “Nobody was present here, at all,” when it ignited. Firefighters found the old barn in flames when they arrived, said Tony Hudson, Clallam County Fire District 3 chief. They began attacking the flames and sprayed down adjacent buildings with foam to prevent the fire from spreading. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Firefighters from Clallam County Fire District 3, Clallam County Fire District 2, and East Jefferson County District Five assisted in fighting the fire.
