The Seattle Fire Department is investigating after crews responded to the third suspicious fire in 24 hours in West Seattle.
Firefighters responded to the most recent fire, at 35th Avenue SW and SW Holly Street, at about 3:15 a.m. Monday after receiving a report of flames coming from the first floor of a building there.
The blaze was quickly extinguished, but fire officials quickly determined that the blaze was suspicious, and came less than 24 hours after two suspicious car fires in West Seattle's Sylvan Ridge development.
The damaged building houses businesses and offices, including a property management company. It's located only about a block away from West Seattle Elementary School.
No one was injured in the blaze.
The two suspicious car fires broke out at about 4:30 a.m. Sunday. The owner of one car said he found a burning box beneath the vehicle.
Anyone with information about the fires is urged to contact the Seattle Fire Department or Seattle police.
