Firefighters had their hands full battling a 2-alarm fire at a commercial building in Puyallup Monday morning, according to Central Pierce Fire & Rescue. The fire broke out just after 7 a.m. at Cascade Millwork & Supply on 58th Ave. E, fire officials said. Video shot by firefighter officials showed intense flames burning much of the building, and fire officials said they flames were so intense they had to fight the fire defensively, focusing on keeping it from spreading to neighboring buildings. Firefighters also had to deal with active power lines and an exposed fuel tank. A company employee told KOMO News coworkers tried to fight the fire at first before they all safely evacuated and there are no reports of anyone hurt. The fire was knocked down about 90 minutes after it began. Fire investigators later determined the blaze began in a paint booth and its cause was accidental.
