The Grant County Sheriff said a Moses Lake man has been arrested after investigation into suspicious fires over the past two years. Officials said Kolton Dana, 23, was arrested Friday for multiple charges of arson, domestic violence assault and burglary. He is being held in the Grant County Jail on $100,000 bail. Deputies said they developed information that helped tie him to a long list of unsolved local crimes that started in 2013. Authorities said the crimes include a string of arson fires in the Soap Lake, Moses Lake and Ephrata areas. Officials said the arsons include dumpsters, vehicles, occupied dwellings, unoccupied dwellings and wildland. Authorities said Dana is a suspect in 23 fires set in Ephrata between April 17 and August 18 in 2013. Officials said he is also a suspect in at least 18 fires in and around Soap Lake in 2014 and 2015. Deputies said he is also a suspect in a fire at the Sunland Motor Inn in Moses Lake on July 27.
