A two-alarm fire broke out at a construction site Wednesday morning in the Clearview area.
The fire was reported just before 6:30 a.m. along 188th Street SE near Broadway Avenue, said Heather Chadwick, spokeswoman for Snohomish County Fire District 7.
Crews arrived to find flames shooting from one house under construction, and smoke coming from a second house. No one was in either building at the time.
A neighbor at the scene suffered a medical emergency and was hospitalized, Chadwick said. The person was an adult, but the age and gender weren't available.
“It is unknown if the injury is related to the fires,” Chadwick said.
Crews also responded from Snohomish, Woodinville, Gold Bar and Fire District 1. Some remained on scene as of 9 a.m.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
