Three people are dead, and three more were injured in a two-car rollover crash on Interstate 82 near Kennewick Tuesday night. Washington State Patrol said a driver and two passengers were killed, and a child was airlifted to the hospital, after the truck they were traveling in crossed the median near Milepost 107 and rolled. The truck came to rest on its roof in the westbound lanes of I-82 when it was struck by an oncoming car, WSP said. A woman and her infant were inside of the vehicle, and suffered no life-threatening injuries. Troopers said the child who was airlifted to the hospital is in critical condition. Traffic is slowly flowing through the area following the crash. Troopers had closed the westbound lanes to investigate and clear the scene, and set up a detour for drivers. What caused the truck to cross the median and rollover is unclear. Washington State Patrol is continuing the investigation.
