A fire in Georgetown caused a family of nine to lose their home. Tara Bishop and her 5 kids lost their home around 6:00 Thursday morning in Georgetown. Bishop tells NewsChannel 9 her son woke her up saying, "I'm scared", with whole kitchen engulfed in flames. She says her 18-year-old kicked a window out to get her brother out of the burning home. Nothing could be salvaged from the fire. Bishop tells us they need everything from clothes to every day items. Bishop says her family is living next door with their 19-year-old neighbor until they find somewhere else to stay.
