Memphis Fire Investigators are looking for an arsonist, after a Berclair home was set on fire three times in one week. This all happened last week. Now, the homeowner told FOX13 it caught fire again! The most recent fire happened at the home on the 4700 block of Hillmont Avenue. The homeowner sent FOX13 video and said the home will now be torn down. Earlier fires blew flames into the attic of the house next door, causing significant damage in Margie Starnes’ house. She’s lived in the home for 50 years. “It means a lot to me,” Starnes said, describing her house. “My husband passed away 10 years ago. It was our first home.”
