Three hikers reported being lost at about 1 p.m. Thursday are all safe, according to firefighter Kevin Reilly, spokesman for the Guam Fire Department.
GFD rescue units responded to a report of lost hikers near the Manengon River early Thursday afternoon. As of 1:53 p.m., the three people had found their way out of the area on their own, Reilly said.
The three hikers had intermittent cell phone service.
