Flames and heavy smoke were coming from the roof when DeKalb firefighters arrives at the Aspen Woods Apartments at 3379 Flat Shoals Road in
Panthersville around 7 p.m., DeKalb County Fire Rescue said in a Facebook post.
The building was evacuated, and firefighters had to leave at one point because conditions worsened inside, the post said.
