Frankie Dietz has been named Assistant Fire Chief for the Toccoa Fire Department. City Manager Billy Morse made the announcement late last week, saying that effective Feb. 4, Dietz will be the new Assistant Fire Chief. Dietz has been with the Toccoa Fire Department for twenty-one years. He has worked his way through the ranks beginning as a Firefighter in 1996. He was promoted to Lieutenant in 2002 and has been a Captain for three years. For 21 years, Dietz has served as the Assistant Fire Chief for Shiloh Volunteer Fire Department.
