Officials with Hall County Fire Services and the Hall County Commission plan to be in Gillsville Tuesday night to field questions about a change in service delivery strategy that will remove ambulance service from three rural fire stations. Hall County Fire Chief Jeff Hood confirmed he will attend the 7 p.m. meeting at Gillsville City Park. Commissioner Scott Gibbs, who represents the Gillsville area on the county commission, also confirmed he will attend the public meeting. Gibbs said via telephone Monday morning he expects Commission Chairman Richard Higgins and Assistant Fire Chief Mark Arnold to attend, as well.
