VIDEO/PHOTOS: Firefighters contained a car fire in Fort Pierce before it spread to a home. The St. Lucie County Fire District (SLCFD) said on Wednesday at around 3:30 p.m., Station 15 rushed to the scene to contain the blaze. Video taken at the scene shows the car dangerously close to the house as flames grow close to the garage. The front half of the car was engulfed with flames as plumes of black smoke rose into the air. Luckily fire crews began to hose down the fire and contain it.
