VIDEO: A fire at a Fort Myers RaceTrac gas station was possibly started by a Molotov cocktail Wednesday morning and is being investigated as arson. According to a firefighter with Fort Myers Fire Department, surveillance video shows a man throwing a bottle with fluid inside into the bushes moments before the fire started shortly before 4:30 a.m. The fire was not near the gas pumps at the gas station at the intersection of Colonial Boulevard and Winkler Avenue and did not spread beyond the bushes. Fort Myers Police said they believe the fire is arson. Firefighters at the scene added that they have responded to several recent dumpster fires in the area. Police have not said whether they are considering anyone a suspect at this time.
