Elbert County officials say the Forest Ridge fire that destroyed five homes Sunday flared back up again Monday. The Elbert County Office of Emergency Management posted a tweet at about 10 a.m. with the update and said crews were working to contain the scene. Another blaze claimed one structure near Bennet Road, according to Elbert County. No injuries were reported. Winds continued to gust across Colorado Monday, and Red Flag warnings have been issued to avoid burning.
