Colorado Springs Fire Department assists carpenter with nail through hand

Tuesday morning, the Colorado Springs Fire Department received a call for assistance from a carpenter in a bad situation. When crews arrived at the home the carpenter was working on, they found he had nailed his hand to the fascia board on the first floor overhang of the house. CSFD said firefighters were able to remove the nail and assist the man down a ladder. The carpenter was transported via ambulance to a local hospital.
