After having served 16 years as fire chief and 38 years with the department, Randall Dunn stepped down as the head of the Colusa Fire Department and appointed Logan Conley to take his place. "It feels good handing the department over to someone that is fully capable of doing a good job," Dunn said. After being sworn in, Conley, 33, thanked those in attendance for their continued support during the transition process. "I'll do my best to not let you down," Conley said. "These past six or seven months have been tumultuous, so I'd like to say thank you. You didn't have to support me, but you did that. I want to hold this office with honor." Conley joined the fire department as a volunteer when he was 18.
