The Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority (CAFMA) has partnered with the Arizona Burn Foundation and the Red Cross of Arizona to hold a Community Smoke Alarm Walk in Prescott Valley, Arizona, on May 11, 2024. These collaborative efforts aim to enhance community safety by providing free installation of smoke alarms in high risk areas. CAFMA is seeking volunteers to assist in making the event a success. “We want community members to know that tools and training will be provided, and it is a fantastic event for families, friend groups, and anyone looking for volunteer hours.” said Kathy Goodman, CAFMA Community Relations Coordinator, “There is no experience necessary, and breakfast will be provided. Join CAFMA in making a significant difference in promoting fire prevention and safeguarding lives within our community.”
