VIDEO: A pup was in peril in southern Arizona after getting stuck in a tortoise den! Enter some firefighters to save the day and it’s Something Good!
Check out this video posted on the Yuma Fire Department Facebook page. The crew of Engine 4 got a call for help the other night after Hazel got a little curious and ended up going down into a tortoise burrow. But then she got stuck and couldn’t get out on her own!
With shovel in hand and some careful maneuvering, crews were able to get Hazel out. It was very tricky to make sure she didn’t get hurt, but eventually, they got her feet and pulled her out.
So, thank you to these Yuma firefighters for doing Something Good.
