The North County Fire & Medical District and the newly expanded Arizona Fire & Medical Authority will hold their December meetings in Sun City West, at the AFMA administrative offices, 18818 Spanish Garden Drive. For the past few months the AFMA meetings had been held at the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors Auditorium, 205 W. Jefferson St., Phoenix. In November, the Sun Lakes Fire District and the Tonopah Valley Fire District, merged and became the South County Fire & Medical District, also part of the AFMA. The North County meeting will be at 10 a.m., and the AFMA meeting will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 18.
