Fire and rescue crews responded Thursday morning to a house fire in the 300-block of Dewey Street. The fire was reported at 7:49 a.m., according to Jeff Presley, E911 director. He said all of the home’s occupants got out safely before firefighters arrived. Members of the Monette Fire Department quickly extinguished the fire. No word at this time on what might have caused the fire.
