The city of Mobile is set to donate used fire equipment to the Prichard Fire Department on Wednesday, July 11. This comes as sources close to the Prichard Fire Department have been reaching out to the FOX10 News Investigative Team about an alleged desperate need for new equipment. Sources have sent several emails making a slew of claims about alleged concerns at Prichard Fire, from severe under-staffing to broken equipment. Sources said an air pack meter is broken and does not let firefighters know how much air they have left, and one fire truck has a broken speedometer and an oil leak. Other sources told FOX10 News the department only has two working fire trucks at the moment.
