Three people were injured following a three car crash on Highway 411 near the Alabama/Georgia line just before 5:30 Friday evening. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency the accident involved a 2015 Hyundai driven by 27 year old Josh Bannister of Centre, a 2009 Lexus driven by 51 year old Annette Coleman of Gadsden and a 2015 Mazda driven by 26 year old Michael Baker of Gadsden. Bannister was airlifted from the scene to a local trauma center.
